Kung Fu Tea is a growing chain of innovative and delicious tea shops with retail locations spread across the US.
The Problem
Kung Fu Tea, with hundreds of franchisee locations, needed an Order Management, Inventory Management, B2B Ecommerce and Barcode Scanning solution in the cloud. Moreover, replenishment, lot tracking and the ability to track inventory transfers from overseas operations to distribution centers on both west and east coasts of the US, was also a requirement.
The Solution
Lead Commerce provided all of the above and more. From allowing their franchisees' to order in a self-service format with custom freight quotes and payment options like ACH, to controlling what SKUs they could order and the price they paid based on who they are. In addition, KFT utilized Lead Commerce custom field (Attributes) capabilities to allow for specific tagging and filtering within the back office and documents. Coupled with an aggressive timeline and launch, the Lead Commerce support team allowed them to reach all of their goals on time and within budget.

Manage Shipping
Automatically obtain tracking information for shipments with their freight supplier Old Dominion and email all BOL documents to their warehouse team.
Barcode Scanning
Allow their warehouse teams on both the west and east coast distributions centers to pick, pack and ship using nothing but barcode scanning workflow.
Quickbooks
Utilized the Lead Commerce order exports to import orders, shipping costs and invoices into their Quickbooks financial reporting system.
Documents
Utilized sales orders, pick list, packing slip, tracking number emails, transfers and purchase orders all with barcode automation.
