Catalog Reports

Catalog Reports of Lead Commerce allow you to run the following Report Types:

- Products
- Categories
- SKUs

Each one of the Report Types above can be specified when creating a Category Report.  For example, you might want to run a report that tells you what your best performing Products are by Revenue.  In this case, you would select the Report Type, Products in order to do so.  Report Types are a way of centralizing the area you are most interested in learning about or needing to report on.

Catalog Reports have the following Sections:

Details Section

NameThis is the name you want to call your report.  It should be something that you can easily remember and provide some description of the report itself (i.e. Top Products by Revenue).
StatusThis is the Status of the Report.  You can have Reports that are Active, Inactive or Archived.
Report TypeThis is the type of report you want to run.  The Report Type is important as it controls what Custom Attributes will be pulled into the Criteria Section.  You can change the Report Type selection after you have saved the report for the first time.  Report Type is required.

Criteria Section

The Criteria Section will change dynamically based on the Report Type selected in the Details section.  We have indicated which filters you will see based on your Report Type selection.

Product Type (Products, SKUs)This filter is available when you select the Product Report Type.
Status (Product, SKU, Catalog)The status of the Product, SKU or Catalog which can be Active, Inactive or Archived.
Price Minimum (Product, SKU)The minimum price of the Product or SKU.  By entering in a minimum price, your reports will only display Products or SKUs that have a price per unit that is equal to or greater than the minimum price.
Price Maximum (Product, SKU)The maximum price of the Product or SKU.  The maximum price you enter will filter your report results to only Products or SKUs that have a price equal to or greater than the maximum price you enter.
Revenue Minimum (Product, SKU)The minimum revenue amount that a Product or SKU has generated over the time period you specify on the Process section of your report.
Revenue Maximum (Product, SKU)The maximum revenue amount that a Product or SKU has generated over the time period you specify on the Process section of your report.
Gross Margin Above (Product, SKU)The minimum gross margin of either a Product or SKU based on the time period you select in the Process section.
Gross Margin Below (Product, SKU)The maximum gross margin of either a Product or SKU based on the time period you select in the Process section.
Tax Code (Product)A particular tax code that a Product belongs to.
Category (Product)A particular category that a Product belongs to.
Low Inventory (SKU)The filter can be used to display any SKUs that are equal to or less than the Minimum Stock Level Warning value specified on the Stock Levels in the SKU drill down.
Warehouse (SKU)The Warehouse filter is a required field when selecting the Low Inventory filter.  This option will limit your report result set to the specific location of your inventory.

Columns

The Columns section of the Catalog Report drill down contains specific data based on the Report Type selection.  We have indicated within parenthesis, which columns are available based on the type of report you create.

Average COGS (Product, SKU)The average cost of goods sold based on the time period specified in the Process section of a particular Product or SKU.
Product ID (Product, SKU)The ID of the Product.
Product Name (Product, SKU)The name of the Product.
Product Price (Product, SKU)The Price of the Product.
Product Type (Product, SKU)The Product Type that a particular Product belongs to.
Total Orders (Product, SKU, Category)The total number of orders a Product or SKU has had based on the time period specified on the Process section.
Total Revenue (Product, SKU, Category)The total revenue generated by a Product or SKU based on the time period specified on the Process section of the report.
Units Sold (Product, SKU, Category)The total number of units sold of a Product or SKU based on the time period specified on the Process section.
SKU (SKU)The SKU ID.
Category IDThe ID of the Category.
Category NameThe Name of the Category.
Number of ProductsThe total number of products in the Category.

Process Section

The Process Section of the Catalog Report drill down allows you to specify the time period you would like to run your report against.  You can choose a start date and end date, in which case, your result set will only include those records that fit that dimension of time.

Run Report (Button)This is the button you select to kick off your report each time you want it to run.  This will open up a dialogue box with the following options below.
Range Start On (Date Picker)This is the start date of your report.
Range End On (Date Picker)This is the end date of your report.
Do Not Include Column Headings (Checkbox)This option will not include the column headings in the CSV file.
Do Not Include Column Sums (Checkbox)This option will not include the summation of the columns in the CSV file output. 

File Upload Section:

File UploadThis section displays all files that have been associated to this SKU.
Upload Files ButtonThis button is used to upload one or multiple files to the SKU from your computer.
Row level ColorboxIf you click on each file that has been uploaded it will open a dialogue window to allow you to make changes to the file name.
File NameThe name of the file
File URLThe full path URL of the file.

History Section:

UserThis column indicates which user made the change to this SKU.
ActionThis column indicates what was done.
Modified OnThis column indicates when the change occurred.
