Promo Codes

Promotional Codes in Lead Commerce allow you to create codes that can be used on the storefront checkout to apply a flat or percentage based discount on a customers order.

The Rules section of Promo Codes allow you to create additional filtering so that they can only be used if a customer spends a certain amount, purchases items from specific Categories or if you only want certain Customer Types to be given access to the code.

Promo Codes consist of the following sections:

Details:

Promo Code NameThis is the code that customers will punch into the promotional field of the storefront checkout.
StatusThis is the status of the Promo Code. It can be Active, Inactive and Archived.

Rules:

AmountThis is the amount of the Promo Code. It can be flat or percentage based.
Max UsesThis is the maximum number of times that this code can be used by all of your customers. This is the global number of times that the code can be used.
Start DateThis is the start date of the Promo Code. If you do not select any value for this field it will default to the current day.
End DateThis is the date that you want to promo code to expire on. Once the End Date matches the current date, the Promo Code will cease to work.
One Per CustomerThis option controls whether or not a code can be reused over and over again by the same login in the storefront checkout.
Cannot Be Combined with Any Other OfferThis option when selected does not allow for multiple codes to be applied together.
Minimum Order AmountThis is the pretax amount that an order must be in order to use the Promo Code.

Customer Types:

IDThis is the ID number of the Customer Type.
NameThis is the name you created for the Customer Type.

Categories:

IDThis is the ID number of the Parent Category.
NameThis is the name of the Parent Category.

File Upload Section:

File UploadThis section displays all files that have been associated to this category.
Upload Files ButtonThis button is used to upload one or multiple files to the category from your computer.
Row level ColorboxIf you click on each file that has been uploaded it will open a dialogue window to allow you to make changes to the file name, to display the file in the customer portal and view the full path URL.
File NameThe name of the file
File URLThe full path URL of the file.

History Section:

UserThis column indicates which user made the change to this Category.
ActionThis column indicates what was done.
Modified OnThis column indicates when the change occurred.
