This support article discusses how to change the filtering of customers and orders based on the Ownership option in Lead Commerce. Customer View Type is an option on Roles It allows you to choose how the Ownership option in Lead Commerce interfaces with any system users who are assigned to that set of customer records. Below is a brief definition of how each option works:
Step 1:
Go to Roles and then select a Role and then choose the Rules section

Choose the Customer View Type option that works for you:
Customer View Type options:
Customer View Type Option | Notes |
View All Customers | This option if selected for this Role will allow any system user associated with this Role to see all customers in the back office of Lead Commerce regardless of ownership settings. |
View Customers tied to System Role | This option if used will allow any system users assigned to this Role to see the customer in the back office of Lead Commerce. Use this option if your sales people work in territories or teams. |
View Customers tied to User | This option if used will allow the system user to see only the customer records that they have direct ownership of in the back office of Lead Commerce. Use this option if your sales people own specific customer accounts and do not work in teams. |
