The Opportunities feature of Lead Commerce allows you to track your sales pipeline. It is designed to work like a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
This feature can help you track what deals you have in your pipeline, what stage each deal is at and also keep track of any conversations that you are having regarding this deal.
Opportunities consist of the following sections:
Details:
Subject | This is the subject of the Opportunity. This can be a brief subject that helps you remember what this Opportunity is about. |
Stage | This is the current status of the Opportunity. The Stage helps you track how close you are to closing this Opportunity. The Stages are 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, Closed Won, Closed Lost, Unresponsive and Postposed. Each one of these Stages is available as a Filter in the side navigation area of the Opportunity subcomponent. See video below for how this works. |
First Name | This is the first name of the Lead. Please Note: This field is read only. In order to fill this form out, you will need to use the Customer/Lead Search or use the New Customer/Lead button. |
Last Name | This is the last name of the Lead. Please Note: This field is read only. In order to fill this form out, you will need to use the Customer/Lead Search or use the New Customer/Lead button. |
Email Address | This is the email address of the Lead. Please Note: This field is read only. In order to fill this form out, you will need to use the Customer/Lead Search or use the New Customer/Lead button. |
Phone | This is the phone number of the Lead. Please Note: This field is read only. In order to fill this form out, you will need to use the Customer/Lead Search or use the New Customer/Lead button. |
Fax | This is the fax number of the Lead. Please Note: This field is read only. In order to fill this form out, you will need to use the Customer/Lead Search or use the New Customer/Lead button. |
Company | This is the company the Lead is associated to. Please Note: This field is read only. In order to fill this form out, you will need to use the Customer/Lead Search or use the New Customer/Lead button. |
Add Comment:
Adding comments to an Opportunity allows you to track your progress along the way. Comments can take the form of conversations, incidents and events that have happened to this Opportunity over time.
Add Comment Button | This is the green button that lets you add a new Comment to the Opportunity. |
Add Comment Dialogue Box | This is the dialogue window opens up and allows you to enter in a comment on the Opportunity. |
Comment Table:
Name | This is the name of the back office user that made the comment. |
Comment | This is the comment that was left by the back office user recapping the conversation they had regarding this opportunity. |
Created On | This is the time and date that this comment as left. |
File Upload Section:
File Upload | This section displays all files that have been associated to this category. |
Upload Files Button | This button is used to upload one or multiple files to the category from your computer. |
Row level Colorbox | If you click on each file that has been uploaded it will open a dialogue window to allow you to make changes to the file name, to display the file in the customer portal and view the full path URL. |
File Name | The name of the file |
File URL | The full path URL of the file. |
History Section:
User | This column indicates which user made the change to this Category. |
Action | This column indicates what was done. |
Modified On | This column indicates when the change occurred. |
