Transfers allow you to move product from one Warehouse to another internally without having to issue Purchase Orders for each location. This is a powerful feature especially if you are running multiple locations OR if you have a central distribution warehouse which breaks down larger orders and then sends smaller fulfillments to other regions.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to transfer product from one location to the other, the SKU MUST adhere to the following criteria:
1) The SKU MUST be mapped to both locations.
2) The SKU must have stock AVAILABLE to transfer in the Source warehouse.
ONLY THE SKUs THAT SATISFY THIS CRITERIA ABOVE WILL SHOW UP IN THE PRODUCT SEARCH ON THE TRANSFERS PRODUCTS DETAILS PAGE.

Receiving:
The Receiving area of a Transfer does not appear until you have actually placed the Transfer. Once the Transfer has been placed, you would then physically ship the items to the target location and when they receive the product there, they would then begin receiving the units and line items of the particular Transfer.
Receiving line items on a transfer in Lead Commerce requires you to create a new Receivement. The video below will walk you through how this is done.
